Nichiha Stone Series offers the realistic appearance of natural stone without needing heavy structural footings, mortar or specialized stonemasons. They feature a built-in rainscreen and a clip-based dry-panel installation, eliminating cold-weather delays, mortar cracking and moisture trapping common to traditional stone veneer.

Exceptional durability in freeze-thaw climates is a primary benefit. Unlike porous mortar joints that absorb water and crack under freezing temperatures, Nichiha’s fiber cement composition and ventilated rainscreen backing allow moisture to drain freely, protecting the facade from spalling and structural rot year-round.

Unlike porous natural stone or field-applied mortar that traps dirt and requires frequent power washing or tuckpointing, Nichiha panels and factory finishes are low-maintenance. A gentle wash with mild soap and water is all that is needed to keep the stone textures looking clean year-round.
